January Blues? Anyone

by Raggi on January 15, 2010

Hmmm; those January Blues coming to get you! They’ve kicked in for most. OK, lets look into this; a bit of comfort eating (yum that pizza was just tooooo good), but went to the gym only to find there were way too many people there, no treadmills free, so decided you clearly weren’t meant to do a gym session that day and therefore leave it to another – justifying your decision with the fact you at least got up and drove to the Gym and can now truthfully say you went for a session to your loved ones.

Boredom, horrid weather, next wage an eternity away, work is… well work. Tried to numb the feeling with a glass or three of wine and now am in a ‘Toxic Triangle’ as well as a downward spiral. Sound familiar – WHY DID YOU BREAK THOSE RESOLUTIONS SO SOON?

Only the other day I was speaking to a good friend on the phone this is what she said:

“I have bought some new trainers you know the ones that keep you fit by rocking as you stand on them; got some ‘Fitflops’. Also gonna get up at 7am every morning for a power walk whilst delivering my business leaflets and listening to learn to speak French on my iPod”

Sessions scheduled this week – Insomnia – Spider Phobia -Weight loss – Stop smoking – Public Speaking

LOL, “fitflops” are those really some type of shoe?

Jordan and I are doing the Wii Fit Plus – our goal is 20 minutes per day; more if we can. We’ve been doing well so far (though the weekends are freebie days). I am def not giving up on my goals so soon in the year!

Hey Michelle

Yes indeed they are flipflop but a fitflop for every step you take you are working out – interesting hey and I’m surprised they are not big in the U S

Glad to hear you are working with your Wii keep up the good work and remember to keep an eye on the results.
